Wonderboom airport, located in the North of Pretoria was originally a civillian airstrip for light aircrafts, and was then used for military training during the second world war.  Currently the airport caters for a limited number of passenger flights.  

Wonderboom Airport is owned by the City of Tshwane that holds the airport licence from the SA Civil Aviation Authority and is deemed to be an asset of the City.

OUTA's information suggests that Transnet paid kickbacks of up to R9-billion to the Guptas for the locomotive contracts.
