The State Capture Inquiry led by Chief Justice Zondo, is long overdue. Starting on 20 August 2018 the inquiry seeks to get to the root cause of State Capture. Over the past year, OUTA has laid numerous charges on individuals implicated in the looting of public funds. OUTA has compiled a detailed report on the cases we have laid as well as new evidence brought to us be whistle blowers. This submission will be handed to the commission of inquiry in stages over the month of September 2018.

OUTA Transport Portfolio Manager Rudie Heyneke gives us an overview of OUTA’s sentiments regarding the State Capture Commission of Inquiry journey thus far.
