OUTA boosts its energy sector portfolio
OUTA has recently appointed Mr Ronald Chauke as its Energy Portfolio Manager, who joins OUTA with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the energy sector, having served as the Head of Department at the National Energy Regulator (NERSA) and as the Director for Public Finance for Energy and Telecommunication at National Treasury.
In the past two months, Chauke has proven his strategic and technical acumen to OUTA’s Energy projects and has substantially uplifted our credibility and engagement levels with various stakeholders in the energy sector. Chauke’s presence has already provided OUTA with improved insights into trending and emerging issues within its energy portfolio, which continues its work to improve the country’s energy security and reduced pricing of electricity.
Ronald holds a BCom Degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand and postgraduate Diploma in Mining Engineering.
OUTA’s energy portfolio continues to grow in strength and is bigger than one individual, as it is supported by a team of lawyers, investigators, researchers and communications specialists.
